OUR DIRECTRESS....

Ms.Meg (She/Her)

With 25 plus years in Montessori Education, Ms.Meg brings a wealth of experience and energy to the classroom. A major in child psychology and advanced degrees in Montessori (AMS) combine to give her a unique expertise with young children. Meg is constantly seeking to advance her knowledge in Early Child Education and has recently received her endorsement in the Orton Gillingham method. Meg is trained in the Jane Nelson Positive Discipline approach and utilizes this in the classroom. Meg has been an active member of the Pacific Northwest Montessori Association since 1993, and is an accredited member of the American Montessori Society since 1994. As a mother of four, Meg has the dual perspective of both teacher and mother that creates a warm and nurturing educational atmosphere. Meg believes strongly in encouraging children to work to their highest potential, while providing the hugs & laughs that make this possible.

When Ms.Meg is not in the classroom you can usually find her gardening, spending time with her family (which includes two adorably goofy dogs), or snuggled up with a good book!
